How you can help save a life.
Can I stay with you a while?
Foster
"How can you let them go?" "I'd keep every single one!" "That's a lot of work!" "I could never..."

Fostering is a critical part of the animal rescue community. Without foster homes many animals will never get a chance to find their forever home. Opening your home to an animal in need not only improves their life, but the life of you and your family.

As a foster all you have to do is open your home to the dog(s) and provide unconditional love. Buddy's will provide all of the necessities while you are fostering; food, toys, crates, treats, etc.
The Impact you can have
Since I was a child, I have always loved and dreamed of somehow helping animals. I imagined working toward somehow giving them a voice and fighting for their right to be treated with compassion and love. A friend of mine was a volunteer and advocate for Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. I constantly discussed the possibility of joining this fulfilling venture. Needless to say, it didn't take long for me to jump at the opportunity to work for Buddy's Rescue. Through fostering with our rescue, I have learned so much from the dogs I have brought into my home. From appreciating the little things in life like the simple wag of a tail to the beauty of selfless and unconditional love that these dogs are able to give despite their troubled and sometimes heartbreaking past. Knowing that I have worked a little harder to ensure that these dogs have a chance at a life they've always deserved is something that I could never regret. 8 foster pups later, I could simply not imagine my life any other way.

We wanted to become a foster family for all the right reasons. We are truly dog lovers. We wanted to share our experience with future dog owners, whether it was their first time, or previous and even current forever homes. Giving puppies or dogs a chance to thrive, be in a healthy environment, teach through our dogs and give support and education about how much work goes into creating a dog you love forever. We are blessed to have fostered and know our puppies and dogs are with wonderful new homes.

Fostering is the most emotionally draining and ultimately most rewarding experience all in one. The day when new fosters are coming in is just like Christmas. Probably the closest an adult can get to feeling the excitement of a little kid again.
