Admiral – I am a 7 week old chi/terrier mix. My Foster Mom tells me I am “little snuggle muffin”. I am currently living in the country with my brother and sister and four other real large foster siblings. Life is really good – I play all day, nap, eat and play some more. My favorite thing to do is climb on my foster sister Jesse when she is laying down and wrestle with her– she is so sweet to me! At the end of a fun day – I love to snuggle up in my crate where I feel safe and warm. My foster mom and dad tell me I am doing really well with potty training – I just go copy what my brothers and sisters do and it’s real easy!! I can’t wait to find someone special that will make me part of their family, and love me and help me be a great dog – 14

Angel is a shy but loving girl, kind of a big baby, really. She likes to follow her foster parents around the house. She'll be curling up next to you before you know it. In fact, the first thing she did when arriving to her foster home was jump on the couch and claim it as her own. She spends nights in bed with her foster parents, cuddling next to her puppy foster sister. She's active but will also laze around with you. She's great with other dogs, and though she's a bit curious about cats, she doesn't pay much attention to them. She hasn't had much exposure to children but seems to be fine around them, maybe a little scared. She knows some commands and is completely house trained. She hasn't had any accidents in the house and will ask to go outside if need be. No apparent chewing behaviors, either. The foster parents are very much in love with this little girl and hope she finds a home that will provide as much love. (3)

Welcome BeeBee! She's a 6 week old French Mastiff/Collie mix weighing 9lbs. She's sure to steal your heart with all her fluff. This fun loving girl is the perfect addition to any family! Hi! I’m Bella an 8 year old retriever mix. Don’t let my age fool you, I am full of energy!! I love to run and play just as much as I love to cuddle and relax. I love all people, even the smallest of them and I am great with both dogs and cats. I have actually lived with Honey (the cat that is up for adoption also) for years and would love to be adopted with her if I could. I am house trained and know commands (sit, stay, paw, lay down, roll over). Betty Lou is a 3 year old hound mix. She is the mom of Red and Freckles and is looking for her forever family. Betty Lou is great with other dogs, is fully crate trained and has not had any accidents in the house. She also loves everyone she meets. (4)

Meet little boy Blue! He is a new arrival from Jasper, Texas. Blue is a 2-year-old terrier mix weighing only 32 pounds. This poor guy has had a rough life. He was dumped on the road in rural Texas and left for dead. He was found and moved to a local foster, but that did not work out and Blue was then taken to a local shelter that gets no exposure. The shelter was at 3 times capacity and they were going to have to make some tough choices. Buddy’s was generous enough to sponsor his transport to Buffalo this week and save his life and that of 7 of his buddies. He had an exciting trip and somehow wound up in Brooklyn, but he eventually made it to Buffalo. He is finally settling in to his foster home and enjoying a soft place to lay his tired head. He is fine with his 2 foster sisters. He walks well on a leash and is working on his manners. You can tell he has not spent much time in a home. Despite his rough start, he is a total love bug and just wants to love and be loved. You can meet Blue after 7/09/17. He is guaranteed to chase your Blues away( 32)

Bonnie is a 10 month old brindle hound mix puppy with tons of energy and love to go around! She is a happy go lucky little girl who just wants to have fun! Bonnie adjusted quickly to her foster home and siblings. She gets along great with our 2 dogs. She is approximately 30 pounds, fully crate trained and making great progress on her potty training. She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle and have a good belly scratch! (59)

I love to play with my brother and foster dogs! My foster family has a cat too. For now I just look at the cat and hope one day the cat will trust me. I am working on potty training! When I do have an accident in the house I always go on a pee pad! (22)

My foster mom and dad tell me I am doing really well with potty training – I just go out outside or on a puppy pad…I am a pretty smart puppy so potty training is easy for me. I can’t wait to find a family that will love me and want to teach me new stuff so I can be the best dog ever!! 14

Hello my name is Freckles. I am just about the cutest little girl ever, my foster mom and dad said so! I am a smart 6 months old mixed hound breed that is just loving life! I love my day filled with plenty of play and cuddle time. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come over to play with me and I just love them! I get so excited when they are here. My canine foster sisters think I am pretty nice too! I am really busy trying to learn my indoor manners. I get a lot of treats when I get it right. When we first met Henry, we knew that was his name. While any forever home is free to change their new addition's name, we think that Henry, or Hank perfectly describes this boy. He is such a fun loving guy that can't have enough to do. He is special in every way that matters, and he excels at most of them. Hi! I’m Honey and I'm Buddy's first cat! I was recently surrendered with my best friend Bella (the retriever mix up for adoption also!) and I would love a new home with a family to love me. I have lived with Bella for many years and I am happy to be around dogs, and even play a bit when I feel like it. I am great with kids also and love to be pet. I am litter trained and am very easy going. I like to find a place to hide and just hang out when I do not want to be around my people. Hi there , my name is Lucy , I'm a little over a year old female beagle mix. I made my way all the way to NY from West Virginia. I'm a tad on the shy side , but come around quickly once I warm up to you. I'm great with kids and follow my 13 year old human foster brother everywhere. I'm good with other dogs, but not sure about cats since my foster home doesn't have any. But there are other dogs here that I'm learning to play with. I'm just about potty trained, I've had a few accidents here , but I'm still a little nervous. I'm the perfect weight for my age , I'm 20 pounds , and won't get much bigger. Since I'm so scared at first I might do better in a home with older kids , maybe 6 and older. Otherwise I'm a perfect catch. Hi! My name is Major and I am a 6 week old Chihuahua Pomeranian Mix! I am very tiny which makes me easy to pick up and hug! I currently live with my brother, 3 foster dogs, and a cat. I get along with everyone.

Mossberg (Mossy for short) is just a beautiful specimen of rescue puppy. Mossy loves to play with his brothers, pee on his pad, and climb on the pile of pups to take a nap. He only wants to please, and will cuddle or play with his toys until the cows come home. He likes food, food, and food, but he is also down with other dog stuff too. Meet Mossy today and have a new furfriend tomorrow! We aren't 100% sure of his genetics, but he is adorable, probably has some collie and lab mixed in, and will be sure to make your house glow with happiness. (11)

Meet Mr. Stevens, he is one of the cutest and littlest little guys you'll ever meet. He just wants love, give and get kisses, and a teeny bit of food from time to time. He is doing great with potty pad training and loves to be with people. Due to his coloring and the rest of the litter, we don't really know what breed he is, but he is just cute and will most likely be around 20 lbs full grown. (11)

Meet Nellie...and when you do you'll fall in love!! Sweet Nellie is an 8 yr old lab mix, and enjoys more than ever the comfort of a loving home, and a warm soft bed to lay on right next to her human. Nellie will need a home that understands her needs for patience and comfort as she is 94 lbs which is extremely over weight for her and because of this and her age, she has a tough time walking and getting up and down the stairs. We are currently giving her glucosamine and it is important that it is continued to be given to help support her joints which are stressed from her weight. She currently is being given ear drops and daily or weekly cleaning may be needed to keep her ears in good health. Nellie was just recently spayed and had vaginal tumors removed as well. She is doing excellent for all she's been through and with a continued strict diet and very moderate exercise (very short walks) she will eventually be in better health, enjoy longer walks, and enjoy her years with a very special family! She is excellent with other dogs, although a home with adult dogs would be best as a puppy may be a bit much for her. She has no worries at all with my kitties running around and as hard as it is for her to move around, she tries her hardest to do so, just so she can follow us around, especially my little girl. Queen is a 1 1/2 year old, fully vetted beagle mix! She has a beautiful dappled coat similar to that of a pointer, but is more the size of a beagle. With a slim, athletic build, she would be great for any active family. Queen would highly benefit from formal training, and would likely thrive in a multi-dog household. Remington is a 6 week old male French Mastiff/Collie mix puppy and sweet as can be! He loves to run around with kids, play with his toys, and go exploring!
